Before you call
How quickly can you get out to my property?
It depends on the week and where you are, but urgent insurance and restoration work gets prioritized — those situations usually have a contractor or an adjuster waiting. Call rather than emailing if the timing is tight.
What should I have ready when I call?
The approximate age of the building, what prompted the inspection, and what work is planned or already underway. Photos help a lot, especially of the specific materials in question. If another inspector has already looked at it, have that report handy.
Do you charge for the initial conversation?
No. Figuring out whether you need testing, and what kind, is a conversation not an engagement. We’ll tell you what we think you need — including when the honest answer is that you don’t need us.
I’m an inspector or contractor in another state. Can you help?
Likely yes. We’re licensed in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia and regularly support other inspectors, engineering firms, restoration companies, and abatement contractors who need licensed coverage or additional capacity on a large project. Call Rob directly at 865-248-2672.
