Chattanooga spent a century as a foundry, railroad, and manufacturing town, and the building stock reflects it. Industrial and warehouse structures from that era used commercial-grade materials that were typically more heavily loaded with asbestos than anything that went into residential construction — insulation, fireproofing, roofing, and mechanical systems all in play.
Much of that inventory is now being converted. Yes, and this is one of the more useful things about working with us in this market. We hold inspection licensure in Georgia as well as Tennessee, so properties in Catoosa, Walker, and Whitfield counties are covered. A lot of Chattanooga-based companies are Tennessee-only and have to refer that work out.
Do you handle industrial and mill buildings?
